We See a Certain Level of Understanding from Our Russian Partners Regarding “Armenian Railways”: Pashinyan
There are discussions at the working level with our Russian partners regarding the
possibility of transferring the concession management of Armenian Railways to another
country.
We are also seeing a certain level of understanding from our Russian partners on
this issue, for which we are grateful. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a briefing
following the government meeting.
“I repeat, there is nothing in what we are saying that is directed against Russia. We are
simply sharing the objective situation with our partners, explaining that Armenia is losing
its competitive advantages under the current circumstances and we have no other
motivation. We hope to reach solutions in the near future.”
