Another Shipment of Azerbaijani Petroleum Products Being Sent from Baku to Armenia
A total of 1,984 tons of diesel fuel (31 railway wagons) is being sent to Armenia. At the
same time, two railway wagons loaded with 135 tons of fertilizer are departing from Baku
today, which are being transported from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijani territory,
according to Azerbaijani media reports.
Under the peace program between Azerbaijan and Armenia, exports of petroleum
products from Azerbaijan to Armenia began on December 18 of last year.
During his state visit to Kazakhstan on October 21 this year, President Ilham Aliyev stated
that Azerbaijan had lifted all restrictions on the transit of cargo to Armenia that had been in
place since the period of occupation.
