Barak Ravid, a correspondent of the American Axios portal and the Israeli Channel 12 TV channel, reported this in X, referring to an American official. He noted that Cooper "informed President Trump about military options against Iran on Thursday."
Ravid did not elaborate on whether the American side has made any decision on this issue. CENTCOM's area of operational responsibility primarily includes the Middle East. In January, the White House warned that it was seriously prepared to use force if Tehran did not come to the negotiating table and reach a "fair deal" that would include the complete elimination of its nuclear weapons.
Iranian authorities have repeatedly stated that they have no intention of developing a nuclear bomb.
