The President of Greece Expresses Hope That a Peace Agreement Between Armenia and Azerbaijan Will Be Signed Soon
Greece supports Armenia’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus. As reported by Armenpress correspondent in Athens, this was stated by the President of Greece, Konstantinos Tasoulas, during a private meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan.
“Greece supports Armenia’s efforts to advance peace and stability in the South Caucasus. I hope that the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be signed soon, for the benefit of the peoples of the region,” the President of Greece noted.
He added that Greece will also continue to provide practical support for the strengthening of relations between Armenia and the European Union, commending the progress achieved in reforms and Armenia’s European orientation.
