In 2026, 200,000 sq. Meters of Pothole Repairs to Be Carried Out in Yerevan (Video)
The main and large-scale pothole repair program for the current year is ongoing in
Yerevan. The works are being implemented across all administrative districts.
Approximately 2,100 square meters have already been asphalted, the Yerevan
Municipality reports. It is noted that, in total 200,000 square meters of work will be carried
out in 2026.
The process begins with cutting the damaged sections of the roadway surface, followed by
the installation of a new asphalt concrete layer. In order to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow,
pothole repair works are organized during nighttime hours.
Starting in April, the annual medium-scale rehabilitation program will also commence,
which includes the adjustment of stormwater inlets and manhole covers.
