Second Meeting of Armenia-U.S. Bilateral Working Group
On January 22, the second meeting of Armenia-U.S. Bilateral Working Group in Support of the Outcomes of the August 8, 2025 Peace Summit was held.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan and Sonata Coulter, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, welcomed the establishment of the Board of Peace initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as Armenia’s joining the Board as a founding member during a ceremonial event held the same day in Davos.
Both sides commended the progress achieved in the development of the Armenia–U.S. Strategic Partnership and highlighted, as another milestone, the adoption of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) Implementation Framework.
The Working Group touched upon the issues on the agenda of economic cooperation, energy, high technologies, and other sectors, outlining the upcoming tasks.
