“It should be emphasized that any conciliar body of the Armenian Apostolic Church, with the exception of the National Ecclesiastical Assembly, can convene its sessions in any place. There have been similar precedents in the case of convening both the Bishops’ Synod and the Supreme Spiritual Council. Therefore, at the invitation of the Catholicos of All Armenians, the Bishops’ Synod will be held in the Austrian city of Saint Polten, on February 16-19,” Artenyan noted.

At the invitation of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, the Bishops’ Synod of the Armenian Apostolic Church will be held in Saint Polten, Austria, from February 16 to 19, Father Yesayi Artenyan, Director of the Information Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
