The pretenders are entering the political arena
How big does the chasm between you and the people have to be for you to think you can easily fool them? How unfamiliar do you have to be with a people whose vote you want to expect, for it to seem to you that they must believe whatever you say?
By slightly editing Hovhannes Tumanyan, the other day this exact picture emerged “By my father’s baptism, by my mother’s birthday, one day we got up five or six of us with a camera and a microphone and went to the village of Tegh. It was Hadi, it was Hyudi, it was Chati, it was Mati, it was my father, it was me: we went…”
Go and reach Tegh village and announce to the world: there is uncertainty in the Tegh community; without guarantees, people don’t believe in peace.
Of course, it isn’t hard to guess what they mean by “guarantees,” but the most powerful thing is that they don’t consider the signatures of three countries, including the U.S. President to be a guarantee, and yet they still presume to appear the political field and even take power.
And how the people of Goris or the citizens of Armenia actually relate to their formalities is that the spokesperson of this political force makes a Facebook post about security guarantees and in two days, attention, it gathers only around four dozen likes.
In reality, both the residents of Tegh village and the people of Berdavan and Nrnadzor understand very well what peace is and what it is worth, and who gave their lives for the sake of our state and for peace.
