The gifts were delivered through the US special envoy to Belarus, John Cole, after the negotiations held on December 12-13. The TV channel explained that Lukashenko presented the US first lady with an elegant ornament with Belarusian motifs, and the American leader with a Christian icon of special value dedicated to St. Nicholas.
