Lukashenko sent gifts to Trump and his wife

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko presented US President Donald Trump with an icon, and his wife Melania with a jewel, "Belarus 1" TV channel reports.
The gifts were delivered through the US special envoy to Belarus, John Cole, after the negotiations held on December 12-13. The TV channel explained that Lukashenko presented the US first lady with an elegant ornament with Belarusian motifs, and the American leader with a Christian icon of special value dedicated to St. Nicholas.
 
The report also shows how the President of Belarus hands Cole some gift boxes and mentions their recipients. Lukashenko also instructed the American side to deliver drinks.
