Archbishop Mikael is in urgent need of surgery: Garnik Danielyan
“Archbishop Mikael is in urgent need of surgery; I have also raised that issue. This sensitive and very important matter must be resolved as soon as possible,” MP Garnik Danielyan from the “Hayastan” (Armenia) bloc told reporters in the National Assembly.
“Archbishop Mikael must be given the opportunity to undergo surgery under the supervision and with the direct participation of his own doctor. The sad statistics recorded in penitentiary institutions urge us to be vigilant and sober-minded so that the 23 recorded deaths do not become 24. I sadly want to say that the 24th, God forbid, could be the Archbishop,” he noted.
For context, the National Assembly is discussing the problems that exist in penitentiary institutions.
