In 2026, state budget expenditures will total 3 trillion 627 billion drams; The government has amended the draft budget
State budget expenditures of Armenia in 2026 will be 3 trillion 627 billion drams. According to Armenpress, Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan announced this in the National Assembly, noting that the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2026” has been amended.
“Budget expenditures are planned at 3 trillion 627 billion drams, of which current expenditures are 2 trillion 923 billion drams and capital expenditures are 704 billion drams. Compared to the first stage, budget expenditures have decreased by 0.9 billion drams in terms of current spending. The reduction is mainly due to the revaluation of the exchange rate,” Hovhannisyan said.
The minister noted that they received around 30 proposals from deputies regarding the initial draft budget, some of which were accepted. “The state budget revenues are planned to be 3 trillion 91 billion drams, which is 0.2 billion drams less compared to the initial version,” the Minister of Finance said.
