Russian President Vladimir Putin called the leadership of Ukraine "a thieving junta that seized power in Kiev".
"This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people, which is connected with the criminal policy of the thieving junta that seized power in Kiev," the Russian president said.
Putin also announced that the Russian armed forces are increasing pressure along the entire front line of the special military operation.
"In general, we see that the troops of the united group increase the pressure along the entire front line," the head of state noted.
