According to Azerbaijani officials, once the corridor becomes operational in Azerbaijan, its annual capacity will reach up to 15 million tons of cargo and work on the Azerbaijani section is planned to be completed by 2026.
Hajiyev said that Baku would like to see the European Union as part of this new transport infrastructure, including within the framework of the EU’s “Global Gateway” initiative.
