New cases of illegal burning detected through drone surveillance: Inspection Body for Environment Protection and Mining.
During intensified measures carried out by the Inspection Body for Environmental protection and mining to protect atmospheric air, 10 cases of burning leaves and stubble were recorded on November 27 in various regions of the republic.
As reported by the Inspection Body, sources of burning in different settlements of Yerevan, Ararat, Vayots Dzor, Kotayk, Aragatsotn and Lori provinces were detected both during on-site inspections by inspectors and through observations using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
Within the framework of the administrative proceedings initiated in all these cases, measures of administrative liability will be applied against the violators.
Oversight of the protection of atmospheric air across the entire territory of the republic continues in a stricter format.
The Inspection Body once again reminds: burning stubble, areas with plant residues and dry vegetation, as well as vegetation in pastures and hayfields on agricultural lands, forest-adjacent, forest and specially protected natural areas, entails a fine under the RA Code of Administrative Offences in the amount of fifty times (50,000 drams) to three hundred times (300,000 drams) of the established minimum monthly salary.
