Changes for pensioners
The amount of cashback from non-cash transactions for pensioners will be increased; the government is planning changes in the program. This was announced by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan during a government session.
The cashback rate will rise from 12% to 20%, and the maximum amount will increase from 6,000 drams to 10,000 drams. The program’s duration will be extended until December 31 2026 inclusive.
Under the government’s approved decision, it is clarified that cashback will not be calculated on payments for utility services.
