The situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan is much better; thanks to President Trump
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has stated that the North Atlantic Alliance is concerned about developments in Georgia and has informed the Georgian side about this. He noted that any country in the Euro-Atlantic area that wants to become a NATO member can declare its desire and then go through the established process. At the same time, according to Rutte, he has no illusions regarding Georgia.
The Secretary General added that Georgia should be viewed in the broader context of the entire South Caucasus region. “Let us look at all this in its entirety: alongside Georgia, we see what is happening between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Here it seems the situation is much better; thanks to President Trump,” Rutte said.
