The Government has made a decision on the 2025 winter conscription: it will start on January 7
At its meeting today, November 20, the Government made a decision “On announcing the 2025 winter conscription for compulsory military service and on carrying out demobilization.”
The draft law envisages setting the period for conscription of the Armed Forces from January 7 to January 31, 2026 and the demobilization of servicemen who have completed compulsory military service from January 8 to January 31, 2026 inclusive.
In addition within the framework of the winter conscription, female citizens who have submitted an application on a voluntary basis to perform compulsory military service by October 1, 2025 will be conscripted for compulsory military service.
