Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan demands life imprisonment for several Artsakh leaders
On November 13, during another “trial,” Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan requested life imprisonment for several military and political leaders of Artsakh.
According to Azerbaijani media, the Prosecutor’s Office has demanded life sentences for former President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan; former Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Lieutenant General Levon Mnatsakanyan; former Deputy Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army Davit Manukyan; former Speaker of the Artsakh Parliament Davit Ishkhanyan; and former Foreign Minister of Artsakh Davit Babayan.
At the same time, the prosecutor's office demanded that the former presidents of Artsakh, Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, and Madat Babayan, who were captured by Azerbaijan, be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
