It is possible that we will have certain extraordinary segments to delimit in order to promote the development of TRIPP: Mher Grigoryan
There are certain working contacts with our counterpart on the Azerbaijani side. During the latest meeting that took place, we visited the south and the territory of Azerbaijan together, but that was mainly related to possible fragments of delimitation connected with TRIPP and with the process that will be directly linked to the location of infrastructures, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan stated today, on November 12, during the question-and-answer session with the Government in the National Assembly.
“Of course, there are separate working contacts that relate directly to the continuation of the process, but at this moment I cannot say more. I believe the contacts are constructive, and after some time we will have information to make public about when the next meeting will take place,” he said.
He also added: “The events of August 8 immediately led to a bilateral stimulus to continue the delimitation process, and this is essentially being discussed.
In addition, the conversation became more specific regarding what position the infrastructures will have and depending on that position, which parts we must delimit so that we have a working basis even to start project design works. Both are delimitation, but here it is possible that we will have certain extraordinary segments to be delimited in order to promote the infrastructural development of the ‘Trump Route’. However, separately and independently of that, I am confident that we will continue our process.”
